Call for tenders for GNSS Supervising Authority market development activities
The European GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) Supervising Authority (GSA) is issuing a call for tenders for specialised support to the GSA's market development activities in the analysis, modelling and implementation of actions towards GNSS markets.
The GSA is looking to contract support for tasks in three different lots (market research and analysis, economic modelling, market strategy and implementation). Support will be provided by various means, such as dedicated studies, development of specific tools, on-site support, and ad hoc presentations of studies and reports.
Lot 1 concerns market research and analysis. GSA envisions that the successful contractor will have necessary experience and capabilities to carry out research and analysis of the satellite navigation market, including specific market segments (e.g. road, aviation, high precision) and regions (e.g. European Union, US, China).
Lot 2 deals with econometrics and economic modelling. GSA envisions that the successful contractor will provide independent expertise in statistics, econometrics, economic modelling and economic studies. The GSA currently has an operational market monitoring and forecasting process (MMFP), projecting economic and social/public benefits (such as taxes, accidents avoided, fuel economies) for satellite navigation applications within a number of market sectors.
Lot 3 concerns business strategy. GSA envisions that the successful contractor will support the GSA in fostering adoption of satellite navigation, identifying key actions in targeted market segments and regions.
