The overall goal of ECO-PowerDrive is to make a significant contribution to the „greening” of Small Off-Road Engines (SORE), Powered 2-Wheelers (PTW), recreational products, and related applications. The research program focuses on the development of technologies for the minimisation of gaseous emissions and CO₂ as well as on the exploration of hybrid-powertrain concepts. Thematic and technological synergies will be used to enable the developments of common usable innovative methods, technologies and tools which will be cost effective and thus competitive.
