In the framework of the K-Project novel methods of computer vision and hardware/software co-design will be

investigated and developed. We will exploit existing additionalities between the partner’s know-how to target

challenging vision tasks of practical relevance. Results with significant scientific impact are expected in the fields

of (i) low-level computationally-efficient visual processing (ii) robust high-level methods and (iii) innovative

hardware/software design methods achieving optimal performance.
