The research programme is based on core competences in the disciplines of ‘Timber Engineering (TE)’ and ‘Wood Technology (WT)’. The development and advancement of timber products in order to position them as high-performance and economically viable building products can be mentioned as one of our objectives. Furthermore the quality of production and the quality in the application of the products play a crucial role for the K-Project timber.engineering in its role as interface between the national and international timber industry and timber engineering research.

- Developent and further findings regarding connection techniques in timber engineering
- Engineered Wood Products with optimized in cross section build up
- Improvement of production processes
