PAC (KP) - Process Analytical Chemistry

The goal of the project is to gain valid chemical information directly from the process streams in real-time. This information shall be used to open new optimization potentials for chemical processes in several industry sectors.
Planned realisation and outcomes:
- Innovative measurement principles for data acquisition:
Enhanced NIR/MIR spectroscopy, implementation of WaGS, Quantum-Cascade-Laser detection, Tera-Hertz spectroscopy on solids, integration of micro sensors, - Novel approaches for integrated data processing:
Novel chemometric models for quantification of substances in complex matrices, anomaly detection, detection of process convergence, predictive computational models
