The Softnet II research program addresses quality-related software eng. challenges – ranging from leveraging an engineer’s implicit knowledge about methods and techniques, the customer-specific adaption of test automation, the tool-supported tracking of quality goals and the evolution of the software’s quality state to the re-usability of quality efforts in the context of software product lines and upcoming vehicle to vehicle architectures. At the heart of Softnet II, the Continuous Defect Forecasting and Detection project deals with defect prediction models and their interactions with testing techniques.
