"The Flanders Mechatronics Technology Centre is a centre of competence in mechatronics, founded by AGORIA, the Belgian multisector federation for the technology industry, and fourteen leading mechatronic companies in Flanders.

The Flanders' MECHATRONICS Technology Centre has the mission to establish the bridge between the academic and industrial know-how in mechatronics. In order to accomplish this mission, FMTC has a unique approach of joint industry-driven research projects, grouped in three research programs, servitization, modular machines and high-productivity machines. To assist with the introduction of the research results in products, FMTC also offers a contract research service."
