CCRMB is one of the three new Centres established in 2009, which focuses on human infertility diagnostics and treatment, as well as human and animal assisted reproduction. The successful academic-industrial partnership within the field of clinical and veterinary reproductive medicine and biotechnology established in Estonia holds immense challenges for future scientific, technological and commercial achievements.

The focuses of the Centre's research are as follows:

- Novel approaches for human infertility diagnostics
- Advances for human and animal assisted reproductive technologies (ART)
- Microecological approaches for human reproductive biomedicine.
