The Laboratory of Nano and Quantum Engineering is a research center of the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität Hannover, focussed on research in the field of nanotechnology. Our goals are both excellent basic research, and applied engineering on the nano-scale accompanied by appropriate multidisciplinary education. In particular, a priority is given to the development and understanding of all-new materials and functions. For this purpose, new tools are under way. Close cooperation of scientists and engineers leads directly to synergetic effects in the development of new solutions for nanotechnological devices.
