Established in 2004, the emphasis of the Lower Saxony Fuel Cell State Initiative lies on three regional competence clusters with the following areas of special expertise:

• Transport application
• Science and SOFC development
• Decentralized energy supply and trade

 Our targets are: 

• Support of technology and knowledge transfer between the economy and research for the advancement of the HT-PEM, DMFC and SOFC development lines
• Cooperation with German, European and international partners / organizations
• Pooling of complementary competencies for the initiation of cooperation projects on state, federal and EU levels
• Integration of fuel cell systems into marketable products
