More than 60 companies from the mechanical engineering, metal and electronic industry have joined together to form a regional network “Netzwerk Industrie RuhrOst” (NIRO) which provides since 2007 comprehensive material and immaterial benefits to its members. At the same time it contributes by means of concrete measures such as projects to the strengthening of the location in its competitive ability at a national and international level.
