The centre will contribute to finding sound, reliable ways of storing CO₂ by examining various methods of storing CO₂ and how CO₂ behaves when sequestered underground. The centre will also identify the best methods of injecting CO₂ and monitoring that the CO₂ remains underground once it is stored there.
