By means of its constituent elements (3 departments, 7 laboratories and 4 services), endowed with modern equipments, MURC has acquired the structure of a systemic archaeology, which implies an inter- and multidisciplinary cooperation focused on and supported by an informatic system, a co-operation meant to enhance the archaeological research on the whole. Therefore, centre is the core of a research institute that is unique in Romania, due to the modern methods and means of research available to specialists and to its major research thematics, being also of national and international interest.
