The Welding Technological Centre was established in 2006 within the Welding Institute in Ljubljana. The research department is working in the field of basic researches for social requirements and also for subscribers from economics. It is specialized in research of:

• welding and similar technics
• gas technics and automation
• automation and robotization of processes
