The Textile Institute Maribor focuses mostly on applied research work, where consumer’s ideas are included as well. In addition, we also concentrate on innovative products and procedures. We are oriented to solve technological problems for the whole textile chain and all consumption groups. More and more we are approaching to areas that are less directly connected to the textile field or represent its development possibilities (technical textile, medical textile, composite materials, waste, ecology…).
