TECOS was established in the year 1994 by the Government of Slovenia, Ministry for Science and Technology and Ministry of Education and Sport, the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and the City of Celje as an independent enterprise to support Slovenian tool and die industry to be much more successful in entering highly demanding markets and thus provide a basis to establish a connection with the Western European market.
