ITE

"The Electrical Technology Institute (ITE) is a private, non-profit-making association whose services, products and technological projects are addressed to national and international public bodies and companies in the power, electric, electronic and communications sectors.

It was set up in 1994 and forms part of the IMPIVA (Network of Technology Institutes of the Valencian Small and Medium-Sized Business Institute). In 2001 it became founder partner of REDIT (Valencian Community Network of Technology Institutes).

Since it was set up ITE has gradually evolved, applying the most advanced technologies in its developments and consolidating research results. Its horizontal nature has meant that it has at all times been able to respond to the requirements and needs of companies in different sectors, with services, training, research and innovation developments.

Mission

To provide companies with solutions by incorporating technology, from execution of R&D projects and services, tests, training and technological diffusion, for their products, services and processes to be safe and more efficient, thus increasing the competitiveness of the electric, electronic, power, communications, automation and capital goods sectors.

Structure

Its internal structure goes by functions, based on areas of R&D, laboratories, services and training supported by the departments of horizontal internal services, thus jointly ensuring attaining the objectives proposed, all managed and coordinated by the heads of its technical scientific, infrastructure and services, internal processes and institutional and business relations areas.
