"ITENE is an association with non-profitable purposes, established in 1994 and registered with the number 134.600 in the Associations Register of the Ministry of the Interior. The association is managed with respect to the rules stated in its by-law, and the law 1/2002 of March 22nd that regulates the right of association and with the applicable articles of the law 49/2002 of December 23th.

The purpose of the association is to boost the scientific research, the technological development, the development of the information society and the promotion of the environment in the packaging, transport and logistics sectors.

The potential beneficiaries of the association's activities are individuals, entities and institutions related to the packaging, transport and logistics sectors interested in developing activities with social goals.
