"The Technological Institute of Informatics (ITI) is a non-profit association of companies, created in 1994 as an initiative of the Regional Agency for SMEs (IMPIVA) and he Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), with the aim to develop RTD, Training and Dissemination activities in the field of IT.

Its mission is to improve and sustain the competitiveness of the companies in the Spanish ITC sector through the provision of RTD services, technological consulting, training and dissemination activities.

ITI’s concrete objectives are:

- To develop the informatics market through the introduction of cutting-edge technologies

- To explore new processes in the software production and technology transfer

- To promote the use of new IT technologies in the industry at large

- To stand as a Technology Watch and Alert Centre on emerging IT technologies

- To demonstrate the competitive advantages derived from the use of IT

- Provision of added-value services to companies in the sector.
