Supramolecular biomaterials structure dynamics and properties - an interdisciplinary centre for structural design of supramolecular biomaterials with unique functional properties. The programme is controlled by the research requirements of industry and is a collaboration between Chalmers and SIK with researchers in surface chemistry, polymer chemistry, physics, mathematics and economics. The programme concentrates on the importance of structure to mass transportation, fluid diffusion and molecular mobility. These properties are of crucial importance to the future development of biomaterials where it must be possible to control how water and active components are transported in the material.
