The Uppsala Berzelii Technology Center for Neurodiagnostics is a joint effort between three faculties at Uppsala University, several companies and Uppsala University Hospital. The aim is to provide a deeper understanding of neurodegenerative diseases. The Center partners represent a broad set of competences spanning from samples via analysis methods to drug discovery.

Our vision is that people with any of the neurorelated diseases will be accurately diagnosed at an early stage, prescribed a therapy based on individual response, and be able to continue living with maintained quality of life.

Our mission is to produce excellent research in the field of neurorelated diseases, bring novel scientific findings faster into the health care system, and enable industry valuable products as a result. This will be accomplished by uniting patient care, basic and clinical research, and biotechnology industry expertise.
