Wingquist Laboratory at Chalmers shall be an internationally competitive competence centre for multidisciplinary research within the field of efficient product realization. The centre shall be the national leader within its competence field, a strategic research partner for industry located in Sweden today and a global motivator for new activities in Sweden. The centre will contribute to new business opportunities, in new as well as in existing industries, for Sweden as a nation. The centre is characterized by strong leadership, high level of international collaboration and well developed mechanisms for implementation of results. The centre is strategically located and has since the start in 2001 already managed to achieve good results.
