DSTI - Dutch Separation Technology Institute

DSTI is a virtual institute in which industry, universities and institutes work closely together to develop breakthrough separation technologies for application in different sectors of the process industry. “Together we can take bigger steps, have more impact, and share the risks”. The result will be a considerable improvement of the competitive position of the Dutch process industry.
So far, 39 companies from the food, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, chemical and process water industry and 8 knowledge centers have joined DSTI. The institute’s budget for the first year is € 10 million; there are plans to double this in the near future. Companies and knowledge centers pay 50% and the Department for Economic Affairs contributes the remaining 50%.
The coordination and meeting center of DSTI is in Amersfoort. This is a city centrally located in the Netherlands.
