Andor a spin-out company from Queen’s University, has successfully established itself as one of the key players supplying specialist scientific cameras and associated products used within the spectroscopy market for the measurement of light.  Its core products are essentially specialist cameras that measure either very low levels of light (single photons i.e., the smallest level of light that exists) or changes in light occurring on very short time-resolution(~ 1 billionth of a second).
