Metris - monitoring European trends in social sciences and humanities - a network of correspondents
The European Commission's Directorate General for Research has launched a call for tenders to establish a network of experts monitoring trends in social sciences and humanities in Europe.
The objective of the network is to provide a description, analysis and annotated commentary on the national landscapes of social sciences and humanities in EU Member States and countries associated with the EU's framework programme. This analysis should then allow the rapid identification, characterisation and comparative analysis of important national programmes and priorities as well as important research capacities (institutions, infrastructures etc.), emerging trends, strengths and weaknesses etc. in these fields. This is to be done on a web-based platform.
