EuroBioForum 2008, Strasbourg, France

The EuroBioForum conference will be held from 17 to 19 September in Strasbourg, France.
Six workshops will be dedicated to a range of life sciences topics:
- molecular biology of survival;
- generating tools for human proteome analysis;
- DNA barcoding for biodiversity;
- the human metagenome;
- human genome profiles in disease;
- using bacteria for renewable energy production.
In addition, there will be a roundtable discussion on 'Opportunities and challenges for joint programmes in Europe'.
The event is organised by the European Science Foundation (ESF) and the European Commission and is an official event of the French Presidency of the European Union.
