Forum for Outermost Europe

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Description: This first edition of the Forum for Outermost Europe, to take place every two years, will be organised by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Regional Policy in cooperation with the Spanish Presidency of the EU. The aim of this event is to increase awareness of the EU's outermost regions' specific characteristics and opportunities as well as to offer those regions a networking platform for dialogue with other political stakeholders. The forum will also contribute to define the future EU strategy for the outermost regions.
