10th ScanBalt Forum „10 Years ScanBalt BioRegion – Towards a Balanced Regional Development and Smart Specialization in the Baltic Sea Region”
ScanBalt BioRegion is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2011. Ten years after the first round table discussion in Teschow, the ScanBalt Forum will again take place in the German State of Mecklenburg/Vorpommern – this time on the Pomeranian Island of Usedom. Key topics of the Forum will be:
- ScanBalt Health Region – the Health Flagship in the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (BSR)
- The Green Valley – Environmental projects and activities in BSR and the Barents Sea
- Cross-border cooperation - Challenges and opportunities in the Baltic Sea Region
ScanBalt BioRegion is the leading macro-regional network within Life Sciences and Health promoting BSR as a globally competitive green valley and health region.
The Forum is organised and hosted by BioCon Valley® (www.bcv.org) one of the cofounders of ScanBalt BioRegion and the not-for-profit association ScanBaltÔ. It is cofinanced by the „Eco4Life“-project within the South Baltic Programme. Sessions and talks on BSHR HealthPort is co-financed by the Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007-2013.
