PlasTEP Summer School/ Training Course in Vilnius and Kaunas July 16th - July 27th, 2012
Plasma technology for environment protection
On behalf of the partners of the Baltic Sea Region programme project PlasTEP we are pleased to announce the international interdisciplinary Summer School and the training course on Plasma Technology for Environment Protection. This summer school will be hosted by the Vilnius Gediminas Technical University and the Kaunas University of Technology in Lithuania.
The summer school lasts for twelve days and includes presentations and discussion groups led by international experts in the field of plasma technologies, combustion and environmental protection. In addition to the discussion programme, the students are divided into teams to undertake short research activities on issues of importance within the plasma technologies area. Time is also allocated for networking and for informal discussions with the assembled experts.
Students and entrepreneurs leaving at the end of the twelfth day will have developed a network of contacts in the field of plasma technologies and environmental protection and will have gained a broad overview of the issues surrounding sustainable environmental technologies development and implementation.
