An inventory of programmes represented in COMPERA showed a great variety in funding modes that represent the different types of CRCs and the diverse legal and political framework. However, we could also see that the underlying general questions are the same in almost all countries.

When speaking about funding, the time after funding is an issue as well. Questions of sustainability and the future prospects of the CRCs are an important issue - also when designing the CRC programme.
