Promotion of an existing programme
- Publish information on an existing programme regularly, both for participants in the programme and for the general public. It promotes commitment among the participants and raises awareness concerning the benefits of the programme.
- Keep the information in the different communication channels updated, the basis of ongoing communication is the programme/agency’s website. Make sure that the different needs of your target groups are covered by the website (need-specific navigation structure).
- Use direct mailings and/or online newsletters to inform the target groups. Establish a routine how input to these newsletters can be generated. And make sure that it is really regular (i.e. weekly, monthly).
• Online newsletters can be accompanied by print activities, for example quarterly or semi-annual publications. - Organise public promotion activities (conferences, presentations) to present the (semi)outcomes or relevant innovative ideas/products resulted on the programme and make news out of it.
- Consider surveys to get feedback on the public opinion/ target groups, draw conclusions on the results and streamline your next activities.
